Expo.Health with John Lynn

from The #HCBiz Show! · host Don Lee & Shahid Shah

There are 100s of healthcare and Health IT conferences every year. Most of them are visionary. That is, they focus on the future. On what might come. Looking forward is important, and frankly, a lot of fun, but it's not going to change the way you do business today. That's why John Lynn created Expo.health, and he's here to tell us what we can expect from the next installment happening in Boston from July 31 – August 2, 2019. Expo.Health is an opportunity for everyone to collaborate together on solutions that they can do today rather than opining about what's going to happen in five or ten years from now. John Lynn, Founder of HealthcareScene.com and Expo.health And when you're focused on solutions for the near-term, it's important to bring the whole team together. That's why Expo.health is designed to serve the CIO and everyone that reports to them (especially the director level) at hospitals, health systems, large practice groups, and long-term care facilities (LTC). John believes it's important to serve the C-level to help them align tools and techniques with their vision. However, he says it's equally important to serve the "doers" – the boots on the ground staff that will carry out that vision. Expo.health aims to bring the whole team together to talk about practical innovation from every perspective. The five main themes for the conference will be: Security and Privacy Analytics Communication and Patient Engagement IT Dev Ops Operational Alignment and Support Learn more about Expo.health and get registered here: https://www.expo.health/   For full show notes: https://thehcbiz.com/expo-health-john-lynn/
