ExPOSED The Podcast: Distorted assumptions on DV Survivors.

from ExPOSED the Podcast! Thriving after abuse! · host TDR Podcasting Network

The last thing a person that has uprooted a family, left it all behind and or attempted to believe that the best option was to LEAVE an unsafe/toxic relationship is to hear a negative distorted assumptions of "why " and "how " you could've ended up in that relationship? Lack of education. Poor and unstable. Alcohol and substance abuse are the major causes of why abuse happens. NONE of these myths are true to what can ACTUALLY play out in any toxic relationship. Today we specifically focus on a FB post that was meant to uplift and encourage those who are survivors of Domestic Abuse, all the while we have some insensitive spectators that felt compelled in revictimizing those of great courage. ExPOSED The Podcast is here to talk about our experiences of revictimization as survivor to THIVER!
