When the foundation of a building starts to shift, the effects are seen everywhere. Cracks start to appear in the walls. A door that closes perfectly will start to swing open on its own. Eventually, if left unchecked, the whole structure will come falling down. When the foundation of your faith becomes questionable, your whole spiritual life is in jeopardy. Some foundations are doomed from the start: foundations of self-righteousness, works, or self-centeredness will never last. But Pastor Mark urges you to hold tight to the only lasting foundation: the Word of God. If you keep that foundation solid, the rest of your life will stay straight and true.
