External and Internal Reality

Today I explore the idea of external and internal reality and breakdown some of the mental constructs surrounding both. We perceive the external reality, in the mind. The senses are an instrument for you to perceive life. You don't see the external reality in its natural form, rather you see it, with your individual perception. When you perceive your external reality, you perceive it, through the lens of the inner reality. Your external reality is only the reflection of your inner reality. This is where you can take a moment and pause and reflect. The highly personal inner reality that exists only and exclusively within you, will eventually become part of your external reality. Your external reality although a collection of efforts from both humans and nature is still highly personal because although there are shared agreements such as this table is solid or the ocean is vast or the sky is blue is still subjective based on the witness experiencing it.
