Extinguishing Your Fire Breathing Start Up with Scott Miller; Dragon Innovation

from Talking Business Now · host Kelly Scanlon & C-Suite Radio

Joining host Kelly Scanlon is Scott Miller, CEO and co-founder of Dragon Innovation, to talk about how the company helps startups turn their product ideas into real products. Scott has been fascinated by hardware since, as he puts it, he was old enough to hold a screwdriver. He's gone on to work on high efficiency robotic tunafish, life-size robotic dinosaurs for Disney Imagineering and robotic baby dolls for Hasbro. He was also led the Roomba technical team and led the production of 3 million Roomba units. Scott recognized that many entrepreneurs often fail going from prototype to high-volume production, so he co-founded Dragon Innovation. The company helps startups and hardware investors, primarily in the area of consumer electronics, progress from prototype to full production. The company also helps their clients navigate logistics, crowdfunding, manufacturing and sales. Listen to more shows hosted by Kelly Scanlon in the Smart Companies archives.
