Doelwit is het atoomprogramma en de machthebbers. Ayatollah Khamenei en president Pezeshkian. Volgens president Trump is dit de kans voor de Iraniërs om in opstand te komen tegen de machthebbers. Trump zegt dat Iran keer op keer echte onderhandelingen uit de weg is gegaan. Hij eist dat de Revolutionaire Garde zich overgeeft in ruil voor immuniteit. Zo niet dan zullen ze dat 'met de dood bekopen'. Iran reageert fel met onder meer aanvallen op Amerikaanse bases in Bahrein, Qatar en de Emiraten.
