EXTRA CREDIT: Walking Wisely - Proverbs 1:1-7

When we think about wisdom, we usually think about principles, propositions, and platitudes. As a result, we look for it in so many different sources--we scour book stores, social media, documentaries, etc. hoping to find out how to navigate through life. Always craving the next principle to get ahead of the curve. The book of Proverbs presents wisdom in a new light. Wisdom is not about a set of propositions or platitudes or principles. Wisdom is a Person. And in order to walk wisely in the world, one must walk closely with God because He's the one that designed the world and determines how it works.   Sermon originally preached at Cornerstone Church: September 2018.
