While initially perceived as a threat they discover the entity is in fact a future Wakandan Queen who has teleported to their time to save Wakanda and the earth from an invading alien army called The Horde.The Queen informs them that the dire situation confronting her time is because Wakanda never integrated into the wider world and so The Horde picked off humankind followed by Wakanda.
