Ezekiel Chapters 22-23

In this episode, we read Ezekiel chapters 22 and 23, where God exposes the deep corruption and unfaithfulness of Jerusalem and Samaria. Through direct confrontation and powerful symbolism, the Lord reveals how leaders, priests, and people alike have turned away from justice, truth, and covenant faithfulness. Chapter 23 uses a striking allegory to show how God’s people pursued spiritual adultery, trusting in foreign powers instead of remaining loyal to Him. These chapters serve as a sobering reminder of how far hearts can drift — and how seriously God takes faithfulness. Yet even in these difficult passages, God’s desire remains the same: that His people would turn back to Him and live.
