Ezekiel Chapters 5-8

In this episode, we read Ezekiel chapters 5 through 8, where God reveals the seriousness of Israel’s sin and the heartbreaking reality of His people’s spiritual rebellion. Through powerful symbols and visions, Ezekiel is shown the depth of idolatry and corruption taking place even within the temple itself. These chapters highlight both God’s justice and His sorrow over sin, as His glory begins to depart from the place where He once dwelled among His people. This reading reminds us that God desires faithful hearts, not divided devotion — and that turning away from Him always carries profound consequences.
