Jeremiah is persecuted, beaten, and thrown into a cistern for warning Jerusalem of its destruction. Yet even in judgment, God offers mercy: surrender and you will live. Meanwhile, Ezekiel is overwhelmed by a stunning vision of God’s glory. He falls face down in worship, setting the tone for a calling marked by reverence and obedience.
