Her mother and father accompanied her. Everyone on board sang prayers of gratitude, kneeling down to kiss the ground. As a child her father threw her over the barbwire fence 1944 at the Swiss border, looked up to the heavens and pleaded to God "Save my daughter and she will always serve you."
