F.U.E.L. — Week 2

The second FUEL message takes the U—unhurried , arguing that intimacy with the Spirit is often blocked not by mystery but by pace. Like the Mensa diners outthinking a simple solution, we overcomplicate connection with God. From John 1, where the Spirit remained on Jesus, the teaching shows a God who wants a walking, talking relationship like Eden's. It traces the disciples waiting ten days in prayer before Pentecost—waiting as an expression of trust—and warns that three-minute devotions cannot sustain depth. Using Elijah's gentle whisper in 1 Kings 19, the message contends that God more often inhabits the whisper than the spectacular, and calls for wanting, waiting, and walking daily at Jesus' pace.
