F.U.E.L. — Week 3

The third FUEL message takes E—empowered , using the acronym AMPS to describe how the Spirit's power still moves. The first amp: the awesome, miraculous power seen hovering over creation in Genesis 1 and raising Jesus from the dead in Romans 8. The teaching clarifies what a miracle actually is—God suspending the laws of nature—and insists, from one Kings, that the Spirit often works through whispers as much as wonders. The second amp, available ministry power, ties Acts 1:8 and the spiritual gifts to serving others, not self. The third, all-important moral power, confronts the prosperity and consumer gospels with Jesus' actual call: deny yourself, take up your cross. Sanctification is the Spirit's lifelong work of making us like Christ.
