*I misspoke at the beginning. It was the morning of 9/11, not 9/12 :) Back in 2011 I made a video for a ship I was on. I've included the audio track here... --------------- Back in the day while deployed in 2011 on the Boxer Amphibious Readiness Group, @jhammer19 and I made a 9/11 tribute for the crew. We had the privilege of having a retired NYPD detective on board who gave his first-hand account of being buried in ashes from the towers. His wife was eating at the windows on the world restaurant before the terrorist attacks. The ship has so many emotional ties to the event. Hard to believe 10 more years have gone by. The same problem exists today. People taking their eyes off God and perpetuating killing, stealing, and destruction in the name of their worldview. 20 years later, things haven't changed! But there is always hope because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We don't put our hope in anything other than the sovereign God.
