One of my teachers, Michael Meade, says symptoms point toward their opposite, in other words, if the world is full of conflict and polarity, these symptoms are pointing at unity. The more we ignore the symptoms, the louder they become…It’s pretty loud right now. It makes me want to hide. I see all the perspectives. I disagree and agree. I feel torn. Pulled. Everyday I change my mind. I’m tired of debating. Language falls short. I don’t care what you think or feel. I don’t care what I think or feel either. I cherish melody, humor, grief, metaphor, creation. All the masks have their place. I want to wear them all. I just don’t want to forget that I’m wearing them anymore. I don’t want to identify with the masks any longer…In this episode, we explore the concept of the “mask”, and the many masks a human being inevitably wears in their lifetime.
