Facing and Overcoming the Evil

This episode will challenge you to deal with some hard truths about evil in our world, both close to home and abroad, and how we as Believers can and must work to defeat it by the power of Messiah and our ACTIVE testimony.  Pastor of Church at Briargate and House District Rep from HD 15, Scott Bottoms, fills us in on what to expect from this Colorado’s 2024 Legislative session and how you can help our elected officials who stand for Christian Conservative values overcome the evil that seems to operate daily in our state government.  Then we share excerpts from “Screams Without Words”,  a recently published NY Times article about how Hamas weaponized sexual violence in Israel on October 7th.  And in our final segment we introduce you to The Peak, a brand-new daily local news-talk program for the Pikes Peak region (launching on January 15th on our sister station, AM 1460 and FM 101.1 The Answer) which is focused on bringing media accountability and transparency to our area, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of our team in a variety of different ways.  More info at:  www.ThePeak.newsSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
