Facing the Judgement - Fr. Gregory - February 23, 2020

Today in Orthodoxy is known as Judgement or Meatfare Sunday. The Gospel lesson is taken from Matthew 25:31-46 and it speaks to us about Jesus' second coming in Glory to judge the nations by separating them as sheep and goats the former on His right and the latter on His left hand. Father Gregory shares with us that this Gospel lesson should create a sobering scene for us as Orthodox Christians, knowing how we love in this life determines our resting place in eternity. Christ wants us to take care of the person right in front of us and to share the Grace of God we experience in the Liturgy with others as we go forth in peace.
