Factory 93 Podcast 002: Ønyx

In anticipation of her set in support of @nicomoreno_music this Friday, Nov. 15 in LA, we're proud to welcome Ønyx (@onyxmusix) for the second edition of our #Factory93Podcast. ♡ Ønyx is an Iranian American artist originating from Paris, with a passion for all things storytelling through sound and visual medium. Small Girl, Big Beats. ♡ Her eclectic style weaves in vibrant influences of textural groove, bass-heavy electro, and broken rhythms. She’s performed for massive underground staples like 6AM, Dirty Epic and Incognito, while supporting a diverse array of headliners including Julia Govor, Coyu, Rrose, Ghost in the Machine, and Ansome. An impactful contributor to the dance music community, Ønyx set the tone for live event after movies in the underground space, capturing intimate vignettes of the warehouse. She’s also a resident DJ of techno collective SplitChecks, wherein she co-curates their monthly residency Dimly Lit – an intimate night of techno, breaks, and electro at the Melody Lounge.
