Faded Love

The Jesus movement that we call Christianity was only a few decades old, nearing the end of the first century when the old, a probably last remaining of the original disciples, John saw a vision of Jesus and a vision of things to come. Exiled on the island of Patmos John saw a vision of the glorified Jesus. He fell at His feet as thought dead. At some point though Jesus began to speak. He had something to say to the churches of the day and he dictated 7 letters to 7 churches. These letters comprise Revelation 2 and 3. These letters address the spiritual condition and challenges of the churches, now fully into the second generation of their existence. In a sense these letters though were not just for those churches, but for all churches, not just for believers in that moment, but for believers through all time. These letters diagnose the spiritual conditions of the heart and offer correction for the problems diagnosed. Support the showFind us at!
