Carmen Hoang, the host, is the only girl in her household and she is joined by her college roommates, Andrew Fontillas and Kyle Cadigal. This series not only offers comedic moments and ironic puns, but it also offers a guide to navigating college while also living with men. Together, Carmen, Andrew, and Kyle utilize the lens of the hit TV show New Girl to break down their chaotic daily lives, essentially living in a real life "Jess Day fever dream."In this pilot, titled "Failing at Adulting," the trio tackles the universal, messy, struggles of growing up and managing a household. From procrastinating on resumes until they are completely broke to aggressively policing the lights and shower time in order to save some bucks on bills. With the end of the semester ending, we wanted our listeners to be able to relate, understand, and know that they are not alone in this post grad journey. These three draw funny, relatable parallel to iconic moments specifically from Season 2, Episode 7, titled "Menzies," talking about everything from covering someone else's bill, being poor, having anger issues, and lastly, that time of the month...So tune in to see the exciting and interactive conversation of the real life New Girl!
