Failure EP 48

from The Guil Podcast · host Guil Dormeus

When you think of failure, you think of it being something bad. I’m here to tell you that failure isn’t a bad thing at all. When you fail, you have the opportunity to play detective and figure out what route or door you’ve opened to get you in this situation and make adjustments. I know a lot of people love to go through this amazing experience called life and not suffer any atrocities, or any failure but I’m here to tell you that “life is all about progression” -@Taxstone and Failure is the exam for progression. You will not pass or go to the next stage without facing a test and until you pass or understand what is really going on you will continuously fail and fail over and over again until you understand and learn what life is trying to teach you. Personally, I seek failure. I almost expect to fail because I’m looking for the lessons life is trying to teach me at this very moment. In every moment I think about the bad, I think about me failing. I always joke about the zombie apocalypse and what would I be doing in that situation. I always think about the worst thing possible, if I don’t get the job or if I don’t get this client, or if I can’t pay for this, what would I do? That thinking has enabled me to stay ready when things come about, I will be ready for them. I understand failure and it’s not something that brings me down, it’s a slingshot that’ll send me to a brighter trajectory
