Moroni watched his entire civilization be destroyed. He lost everyone he loved. It wasn't that there was a lot of wickedness around him; it was that there was only wickedness. Moroni was the only person left who believed in Christ. It brought new meaning to feeling alone. Still, he didn't doubt the Lord. How did he stay so strong? While I hope we will never see what Moroni saw, we have been told our day will mirror the Book of Mormon. Thankfully, Moroni saw our day and wrote a message for us.
