We will never obtain new faith from past thinking. The Lord wants us to make good decisions from poor past decisions. Faith will increase when we live for the future. We can obtain new faith from our past mistakes. Instead of complaining about a lack of faith from the past we must focus on increasing our faith for the future. Allow the Holy Spirit to help us increase faith to receive.
