FAITH IN GOD’S PROMISES, NOT YOUR FEELINGS

Scripture “For the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” — 2 Corinthians 1:20 Devotional Message: Feelings change, but God’s promises remain constant. There are days when emotions are strong and faith feels weak, yet God’s Word stands firm regardless of how we feel. Faith is not rooted in emotions; it is anchored in the unchanging truth of God’s promises. Trusting God means believing His Word even when your feelings suggest otherwise. Feelings may tell you that God is distant or that nothing is changing, but faith declares that God is faithful and always at work. When you choose to stand on God’s promises, you rise above emotional uncertainty. Living by faith in God’s promises brings stability, peace, and confidence. As you learn to rely on what God has said rather than how you feel, your trust deepens and your walk with Him grows stronger. Today, Ask Yourself Am I allowing my feelings to override my faith in God’s promises? Prayer Father, help me to trust Your promises above my feelings. Teach me to anchor my faith in Your unchanging Word, even when my emotions fluctuate. Strengthen my heart to believe You at all times. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
