Uncertainty about illness, death and the future can leave hearts searching for safety. Jesus comforts His troubled disciples before leaving them: He is one with the Father and prepares a home where His followers will be with Him. He is the only way there. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus opens the way to the Father and reveals God to them. His promised return gives troubled people reason to trust Him even when life grows harsher or lonelier.
