Though the Spirit is often grieved by sin, division, and spiritual complacency (both individually and corporately) His presence is a gift of grace, not earned, and His indwelling brings dignity, strength, and hope, making believers confident that God Himself dwells within them, enabling them to live beyond their limitations through His power.
