This is also a bid to ensure that our vernacular languages are preserved. The book is dedicated to her mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The book comprises of 30 poems, that address various topics from the preservation of the language, to commemorating Ms Charlotte Maxeke, the book also addresses societal ills, while you will also find a poem that talks about the beauty of nature, it also seeks to inspire a sense of pride in our languages as South Africans. It’s also a motivation tool for females to know their worth, to be a new breed of women who will build each other, other poems send a strong call to action against the current femicide in our country. The content of the book is easy to apprehend making it accessible to people of different ages.
