Faith Passed Through Hands

Many Gen X-ers didn't receive faith as a clean multi-generational inheritance — we came to it through disruption, through crisis, through a season where the life we'd built wasn't enough and we found something real in what remained. Which puts us in an interesting position: we're the generation that may not have received it perfectly, but we're absolutely the generation that can choose what gets passed forward. This episode is about that choice and what sincere, transmissible faith actually looks like.2 Timothy 1:5 shows Paul recognizing in Timothy the same sincere faith he can trace through two generations of women who shaped him — his grandmother Lois, his mother Eunice, and now Timothy himself. (2 Timothy 1:5, NIV) Today's challenge: write a short honest letter — even if you never send it — to one younger person in your life, telling them what your faith has actually cost you and what it has actually given you, in the honest version rather than the polished one.
