FAITH THAT ENDURES
from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix
Devotional Message: Scripture: "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised." – Hebrews 10:36 Faith that endures is faith that holds on even when the journey is long, the nights are dark, and the answers seem delayed. Hebrews 10:36 reminds us that perseverance is not optional in the walk of faith—it is essential. God calls us not just to start strong, but to finish well. And the strength to endure comes not from our own willpower, but from trusting the faithfulness of the One who has called us. Endurance is built in the waiting, in the trials, in the obedience that feels costly. But every act of faith, every step of obedience, draws us closer to the fulfillment of God’s promises. He has not forgotten you. His timing is perfect. His promises are sure. The waiting season is not wasted—it’s where God refines you, strengthens you, and prepares you to receive what He has in store. When you feel weary, fix your eyes on Jesus—the author and finisher of your faith. He endured the cross for the joy set before Him. In the same way, you are called to endure, not in your own strength, but with the assurance that God is working all things together for your good. Today, ask yourself: Am I holding onto God’s promises with perseverance, or have I allowed discouragement to dim my faith? Prayer: AlmightyFather, help me to endure with faith when the journey is hard and the answers are slow in coming. Give me the strength to keep doing Your will and to trust in Your promises. I know that You are faithful, and I choose to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
