Faith that Tames the Tongue :: James 3:1-12

True faith produces fruit. Faith without works or actions is a fruitless faith – it is dead. This spring from the book of James we will be preaching: “FAITH THAT WORKS.” James speaks to the realities of a living and active faith in Jesus. The kind of faith that takes the precepts of Jesus and puts them into practice in a chaotic world. A faith in Jesus that endures in trials, obeys God’s Word once heard, understands the danger of the tongue, and prays with faith. All of this is born out of an authentic relationship with Jesus. The expressed hope of this series is for disciples of Jesus to practice the precepts of Jesus no matter the circumstance of life.
