"Faith That Triumphs Over Fear" // Matthew 8 & 14 (Sunday 11/10/24)

"If people would dig to the root of their fears, they would certainly find unbelief there.” (John Flavel) What do you think about that? Does your fear come from unbelief? So often, our fears overcome the faith needed to experience real unity. This election week has been a roller-coaster for so many. Whether you're glad or grieving about the outcome, it seems the uncertainty of our future is colored by fear, and this has the potential to divide us in big ways. Does your fear inhibit your ability to experience unity with others? Isn't fear at the heart of much of the tension and anxiety we're feeling? If we’re going to have unity - if we’re going to be UNITED, we need big faith to overcome our fears. And, thankfully, God is ready to give you this faith! He says to us in Isaiah 41:13, “For I hold you by your right hand—  I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’”  Let God hold you with His peace and surround you with His promises this Sunday!
