Faith Under Fire – Week 2: When Faith Goes Where It’s Sent 1 Kings 17:8–16 | Pastor Craig Turnbull In Week 2 of Faith Under Fire, Pastor Craig Turnbull continues the story of Elijah and shows us what happens when faith moves in obedience to where God sends it. After being sustained by God, Elijah is called again… this time not just to trust, but to go. And where God sends him isn’t easy, comfortable, or predictable. It’s into unfamiliar territory, deep need, and a situation that requires even greater faith. When faith goes where it’s sent: • It listens first to the Word of God• It steps into real need• It dismantles fear• And it brings God’s blessing Through an ordinary man and a desperate widow, we see a powerful truth: God doesn’t just call us to grow in faith for ourselves. He sends us so others can experience Him too. This message is a direct challenge: You already know where God is calling you to trust Him. You’ve heard it. You’ve felt it. You’ve seen it in His Word. The question is… will you go? Because faith isn’t just learning, thinking, or feeling. Faith moves. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it doesn’t make sense. Even when it leads you into someone else’s need. Faith goes where it’s sent.
