Faith—What Are We Really Talking About?

Faith is entrusting yourself to Jesus, expressed in knowing the gospel truth, believing it to be true, and trusting wholly in Him—the only channel by which God’s grace reaches our souls, just as a simple coupling links carriages to a locomotive. It isn’t a boastful record of deeds but the open hand that receives the free gift of salvation, like a beggar gratefully accepting a coin and looking up to say, “Thank you.”
