FAITHFUL NOT FLASHY Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” —1 Corinthians 4:2 There’s a simple truth tucked into this small verse that can reshape the way we view our lives: God isn’t looking for flashy. He’s looking for faithful. When Paul says, “It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful,” he’s reminding us that we are stewards of all that God has given us—our time, our talents, our voices, our influence, our opportunities.
