In response, an off-duty deputy initiated surveillance and followed the suspect's vehicle, described as an F-150.The suspect, aware of the pursuit, took evasive action by pulling behind a building in an attempt to conceal himself. The sergeant promptly reported the incident to our investigative unit, suspecting the false impersonation of a law enforcement officer.Upon further investigation, it was confirmed that the suspect is not a duly appointed law enforcement officer in the state of Florida. Additionally, records revealed that the suspect lacked a valid driver's license.Consequently, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect.
