Fake/Real - Part 1
from Dear Digital Future Hosted by PROJECT ROCKIT
Is anything real anymore? Are we our authentic selves online, or is it all a production? In this final two-part episode we discuss the continuum from authenticity through to fakeness online. Is it all fake news and fads? We unpack the way we use filters, our a algorithms ability to share things we don't share with anyone on reddit, bias in the smallest and largest parts of our online lives and what role do we play in all of this? And we ask - how can we make it better. Hansika, Vedrana & Olivia share their experiences, expectations and expose the challenge of living an authentic life online. Produced by PROJECT ROCKIT and our National Youth Collective with support from the Telstra Foundation.
