Welcome to Episode 82! This week Mark & Casey have got a big show chocked full of goodies. So grab your supplies and get ready to paint!

Kicking off this week's Pick Up, Mark is discussing a rare event and the impact of the event on his life.  Then Casey is dishing on some professional challenges, but reviewing a Drag show he attended with Drag legends, Manila Luzon, Trinity The Tuck, and Ginger Minj highlighting the catalog of Canadian Pop Icon, Celine Dion!

Next up, it's the Mid-Section and this week's is a biggie!  As movie theaters re-open and the Fall season gets started, movies are once again being released into theaters rather than direct streaming (though some quality films are debuting on streaming). Mark & Casey are discussing some of the most highly anticipated movies expected this Fall (and some not so anticipated). This is typically the kick off to what is expected to be some of strong awards contenders.  Which ones have you heard about? Which ones are new to you?  What ones will you see? Which will you miss? Did we miss any??

Then it's on to everyone's favorite weekly segment,  Trash Talk!  Kicking off this week is a viral video of a televangelist call out the LGBTQIA+ and their supporters offering up judgement and blame in a bigoted video.  Speaking of Canada, a husband learned his wife got vaccinated for COVID-19 and sprung to action to address how she received it. Now - a nationwide manhunt is on. But why??  Next - two stories out of Florida where a new Surgeon General has been appointed and one of the first orders of business is to block any mask mandates in schools all while allowing parents to make the decision if their children should stay home to quarantine after exposure to COVID-19 or if they are ok to go to school as long as they do not exhibit symptoms. Lastly to close it out - a woman in Philadelphia was tired of waiting for her meal at a restaurant and drew her gun, intimidating workers, demanding her food "now!".

Finally, in this week's recommendation Mark is suggesting a live capture of a musical focused on hope and healing in the face of a tragedy (based on a true story). Then Casey is recommending his favorite TV show now going into it's 41st season and back after filming was shutdown as a result of the corona-19-COVID-CORVID-1919-2020-2021.

It's a jam packed all new episode with your gay best friends!  So pour your favorite port vintage, grab your painting supplies, pull up a chair and get ready for Painted Trash!
