FALLEN

A supernatural thriller starring Denzel Washington as a homicide detective, John Hobbes, who investigates a series of murders that mirror those of a recently executed serial killer, Edgar Reese (Elias Koteas). The killings are actually being committed by a demonic spirit named Azazel, which can possess people through touch, leading to a mind-bending chase where the killer is constantly changing hosts, including Hobbes himself. The film, directed by Gregory Hoblit, also features John Goodman, Donald Sutherland, and James Gandolfini.
