Here American forces, commanded by General Anthony Wayne, defeated a confederacy of American Indians, ending British claims to the Northwest Territory and sealing the fate of an area that later became six U.S. states.Friday, August 16 & Saturday, August 17, 2019:LANTERN TOURSExperience the Battlefield at night by lantern light. Hear the stories of the Battlefield told by the tour leader, and meet historic figures related to the Battle along the way.Tours are limited to 100 tickets per night, and times will be assigned on a first come basis. Guests will receive a reservation, not a paper ticket. Large groups (25 maximum per group) should reserve tickets together in order to facilitate placement in a single tour group. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your group is scheduled to leave on its tour. Tours will last approximately 60-75 minutes.
