Falls Church School Board appoints Terry J. Dade as New Superintendent

In a unanimous vote, the School Board appointed Terry J. Dade as the next Superintendent of Falls Church City Public Schools. Mr. Dade will begin his role on July 1, succeeding Dr. Peter J. Noonan, who is retiring after eight years of dedicated service.Mr. Dade brings over 25 years of educational leadership experience and is currently Superintendent of Cornwall Central School District in New York. He has strong ties to our region, having previously served as Assistant Superintendent in Fairfax County and Principal at Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church."I am honored to join this exceptional learning community," said Mr. Dade at last night's reception. "I look forward to working collaboratively with students, families, educators, and community members to shape an even brighter future for our schools."The School Board will announce opportunities for the community to meet Mr. Dade in the coming weeks.
