False Alarm – Chapter 1 Podcast
from Heatherstallings Hosted by Heatherstallings
Here’s chapter 1 of my podcast of my novel, False Alarm. You can also download it free on iTunes. I’d love to hear your comments. Kate McCabe, CFO of a San Francisco firm, which manages the affairs of professional athletes, arrives at the office to the athletes already calling for their money. We meet her all-male colleagues at a meeting, where Kate is obviously a fish-out of water. Her boss is offering a big bonus to the “man” who lands hot-ticket wide receiver, Pedro Araguz, a.k.a “The Latin Lover.” Kate intends to compete, even uninvited. She’d like to be one of the boys and she needs the money—her husband has announced that he’s leaving his lawyer job to become firefighter.
