*sorry about the audio issues, friends... we're really going through it* This is Bed Crime Stories - a weekly True Crime Podcast where your hosts pour themselves a drink and take turns telling one another the stories that keep them up at night!  On this episode, Charlie tells the story of Dan Lafferty and his brother, self-proclaimed prophet, Rob Lafferty, who killed their sister-in-law and 15-month-old niece. This was all to fulfill a prophecy Rob claimed to have received directly from God. The story will soon be the subject of a true crime mini series on Hulu, "Under the Banner of Heaven". True Crime and comedy... Sounds crazy, we know. We add humor to cope with the harsh reality of the stories we tell and alleviate some of the heaviness for our listeners.
