Esta semana Caracol Radio reveló una serie de inconsistencias en un documento del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, liderado por Irene Vélez. Ese informe se presentó en diciembre del año pasado y le sirvió al Gobierno y a ese Ministerio para suspender las exploraciones de petróleo y gas porque el país iba a ser autosuficiente en gas hasta 2037. Según la revelación de Caracol Radio muchos de los firmantes de ese documento no conocían el contenido del mismo, entre ellos la propia viceministra Belizza Ruíz. #AFondo entrevistó a Armando Zamora, fundador y expresidente de la Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos, quien antes de dejar su cargo en octubre del año pasado, le entregó un estudio a la ministra Irene Vélez en el que dice que si no se hacen nuevos hallazgos en materia de gas y petróleo el país solo podrá ser autosuficiente ocho años. ¿Cuáles son las implicaciones de no hacer nuevas exploraciones de gas y petróleo? ¿Está sustentada esa decisión en datos científicos?
