Primero fueron las automotrices, utilizaron nuestros cupos para cubrirles a ellos, pero ahora tampoco abastecen a las fábricas. El 80% del neumático es materia prima importada, y el otro 20% es la mano de obra, que está en conflicto por el pago de horas extras. Brasil e Indonesia son los dos países que generar caucho, y los otros productos químicos también debemos importarlos. La cuestión es que no hay liquidez para generar esa importación. No hay reglas claras en política comercial para mejorar esta situación. Nosotros hemos tenido que hacer malabarismos, hemos agregado cuestiones de tren delantero, brindamos más servicios, porque cada vez se complica más conseguir las cubiertas, aunque hay medidas puntuales que ya no se consiguen. No podemos brindar opciones para elegir, es lo que se consigue. La cubierta es un insumo que aumenta todos los meses, con un interanual del 100%, muy por encima de la inflación. Hoy en día por ejemplo una goma 14, que es la básica para un vehículo común, hay que disponer de $100mil, para una camioneta hay que pensar en $280mil, y ni hablar de un camión, que tiene 18 cubiertas, son casi dos millones de pesos”.

Rania Awaad Muslim Central Dr. Rania Awaad M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine where she is the Director of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab as well as Stanford University’s Affiliate Chaplain. In the community, she serves as the Executive Director of Maristan.org, a holistic mental health nonprofit serving Muslim communities, and the Director of The Rahmah Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating Muslim women and girls. In addition, she is faculty of Islamic Psychology at Cambridge Muslim College and The Islamic Seminary of America.She is also a Senior Fellow for Yaqeen Institute and the Institute of Social Policy and Understanding. Prior to studying medicine, she pursued classical Islamic studies in Damascus, Syria, and holds certifications (ijaza) in the Qur’an, Islamic Law, and other branches of the Islamic Sciences. Mohammad Qutub Muslim Central Dr. Mohammad Qutub is an Islamic scholar with several decades of experience as a teacher and orator. He completed his Master’s and PhD degrees in Uṣūl al-Dīn and Comparative Religion at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and has several Ijāzahs (licenses) and certificates in Qur’an, Hadith, etc. He has spoken internationally in the Middle East, the U.S., and Southeast Asia and regularly holds intensive seminars and university lectures. His passions and research revolve around: Islamic thought and history, Qur’anic Tafsīr, scientific Iʿjāz (inimitability) in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and comparative religion. He teaches students of all different ages and backgrounds in-person and online. He is also an engineer by profession with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the U.S., and extensive experience in the field of Industrial Gases.
