An Arizona native, she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Justice Studies and Sociology and her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University. During law school, she was involved with the Arizona Women’s Bar Association and gained experience clerking at a family and criminal defense firm and the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office. Kelsey was named a Southwest Super Lawyer Rising Star (2024) and received the Top 10 Under 40 award from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (2022). Sophie Altman has practiced family law exclusively since 2018 in both Arizona and Colorado, helping families navigate transitions smoothly. Raised in Paradise Valley, Arizona, she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Justice Studies from Arizona State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. Sophie gained experience through internships at the Denver District Attorney’s Office, a Phoenix family law firm, a prisoner’s rights organization, and the Denver Juvenile Court.
