Family of Derry blogger Leona Reid pay tribute to her life

from BBC Radio Foyle · host BBC Radio Foyle

The family of a young aspiring journalist from Derry who died after losing her battle with cancer has been paying tribute to her. Leona Reid was just 22 when she passed away a fortnight ago following her diagnosis with non-hodgkin lymphoma last summer. The law student captured people's imaginations in her blog which she used to highlight her experience with the disease. Her parents Janice and Stephen have been telling me about the daughter they say had so much to live for.
