"Famous" - Being Known by God

"Famous" is a spoken poem about the quiet longing to be seen — not by the world, but by the One who truly knows us.It’s a journey through fear, judgment, and hidden purpose — a reminder that true fame isn’t found in crowds or applause, but in being fully known by God.Written and performed by Oluwaseyi Shedrack#FaithPoetry #ChristianSpokenWord #IdentityInChrist #HealingWords📝 Full Poem (Lyrics):I always dream of being famous,Not for the light,Not for the crowd,But for the chance to be fully seen — and not judged.Because long before the cameras,Before the applause I never heard,I met someone who listened,Not to my words, but to the tremble beneath them.He didn’t shut me down,Didn’t weigh me like people do.He looked at me and saw truth,Even when I didn’t believe in me.But now I stand,Quiet in the shadow of fear,Judgment,Embarrassment —The lie that says I’m too strange to be loved,Too different to be heard. So I hide...No pictures,No stage,No voice. But something inside still burns —A name.A light.A purpose.Because I wasn’t born just to watch others live.I was called.Crafted.Loved.And maybe... just maybe,The most powerful fameIs being known by God —And finally knowing me.
