Domenico and Gerbert begin to plot against Matthew. Diana and Matthew have dinner, with very mixed results. After a disgusting intimidation tactic, Knox finds himself on the wrong end of Diana's anger. For Diana's safety, she and Matthew flee to France, and come to a decision that will lead them into trouble.
