【访谈】互联网金融冲击传统银行业

from NEWSPlus Radio · host NEWSPlus Radio

New figures are suggesting that around 10-billion yuan per day is being added to the online investment rolls in China. With the advent of online investment opportunities in China in recent months, capital flows are starting to more and more move away from traditional brick-and-mortar banks. This comes as online investment platforms such as Alibaba's "Yu'erbao" and Tencent's "Tenpay" offer returns of over 6-percent. Savings rates at Chinese banks currently hover around 3-percent, which traditionally has come in under the rate of inflation, meaning bank customers generally lose money by keeping their funds in the banks. For more on the trend toward online investment, we're joined live on the line now by Gao Shang, Analyst of GuanTong Futures.
